Updated Feb 21-2006!

For this year 2006 the band has finally located a booking agency in France and that makes me very happy.
The booking agency led by Mr Jean Luc Poma  and his lovely wife Ann will now work for the band in Europe and hopefully we will have a lot more bookings in countries like Germany, France and Belgium in this year.
It also takes a lot of pressure of me and I will have some more time to do other things for the band in the future. I'm very happy 'bout this and we will add all  new dates to the calendar as soon as we can

Janne Ersson Big Band are now having negotiations with sponsors to make their first Australian tour ever which is supposed to take place during sep/okt-2005
The Band will play Jazz Festivals like Manly Jazz Festival in Sydney and Jazz in the Vines together with Jazz Clubs in Brisbane, Queensland and Tasmania. Some guys in the band will also do som clinic,s and this is of course a fantastic opportunity for the band to reach a completely new audience on the other side of the world
The Band will also tour Europe in the summer playing countries like Germany, Italy and France. Check the calender for updates

Hi!

The band has arrived back after one incredible tour to Europe, where we played 10 gigs in 12 days so how about that ?

Regensburg in Germany was a fantastic city outside of Munich with around about 160.000 citizens where we did 2 gigs and the reception was just fantastic, what a crowd

From Germany we left for Austria (Villach) and I have never seen anything so beautiful in my life

From the festival spot you could see all the way to Italy and believe me, this is something  that I will never forget and once again a truly fantastic crowd which made us play almost half one hour extra, but what the heck, it was a fantastic feeling...

Then we left for Montreux Jazz Festival and our expectations were very high but to get there we had to travel almost 16 hours and the guy's where very tired when we got there and fell asleep immidiately at 8 O'clock in the morning

The three gigs however was really good especially the last 2 gigs where the band was really burnin' and we also taped our consert's for a comin'g CD which will be out in the fall

Now we left Montreux for Brussels, Belgium where we played one of the smallest jazz clubs I have ever seen but once again the crowd made the band play better than we ever did, I wish we'd recorded this consert cause I think the band has never played better ever since, the band was now burni'n more than ever

Then we wen't to Den Haag in Holland, The Netherland's and the great jazzclub Pannonica where we opened the club as hard as we could and now you could feel that the guy's were gettig a little tired, no shit the band had been drivin'g almost 5.000 kilometres in 10 days so you almost expected this to happen, but what the hell this is something to remember for all time and one more step closer to Las Vegas...

This is it ladies and gentlemen, the band are now very close to the biggest tour
ever in Europe and the consert in Montreux are being recorded for a future CD

The band are now rehearsing more intensive than ever and will explode on this European tour, believe me

5 different countries in 10 days tour is more than I expected and I'm really looking forward to this tour

This could be the definite break through for the band in Europe, so let's wait and see..

More updates to come...
